Well, it does.
Option A : A large, well-known, brand name agency with a long term track record of success.
Option B : A small, relatively unknown firm with a short track record.
Let’s say both performs well. How do you make a choice?
Option A if :
- You need ice-breakers at those corporate cocktails
- You like your account managers to change every season
- You like to brag on how much you spend on your PR people - somehow “I only spent a 120 big ones on my PR is not as glamorous as saying I spent half a mil on my PR
- You like to show your friends, business partners and family members pictures of your PR person with other famous people
Option B if :
- You want a more relaxed PR person who does not look like they are on a caffeine drip
- They look less down on their noses on your PR spend - they work for every ringgit they earn too
- Your business matters to them, so they want to know how your business is doing and they bend over to service
- They believe that great client-agency relationships make great work
- They want to create great work, that’s why they started out on their own
